New adult education class begins Jan. 10
A new adult education class, led by Bruce Lind, will begin on Sunday, Jan. 10 at 9 a.m. in the Sunshine Room. The new class will follow “Three Simple Rules for Christian Living” for the Epiphany Season.

UMW makes the season bright for shut-ins
At its monthly meeting on Dec. 8, the United Methodist Women of the Cape Elizabeth UMC took a collections of fruits, cookies and other holiday treats and made Christmas baskets for shut-ins in the Greater Portland area.

Preparing for the Christmas season
Rather than decorating the church with Christmas greens prior to Sunday services, as it had been done in past year, Minister Ruth Morrison turned the responsibility over to the congregation this year  — and it took place during the 8:15 and 10 a.m. services.
