The United Methodist Women held their annual spring Tea Party on Tuesday, May 11, hosted by Ruth Morrison in the Sunshine Room. Many of the ladies came dressed with colorful, flowered hats, the most spectacular of which was the one worn by Lou Peiffer (above).

Faith York composition

Performance honors Faith’s work
Congratulations to Faith York, who had one of her original compositions, “Snow,” performed recently by the Virginia Chorale.
“Snow” was originally performance by Renaissance Voices in Maine in 2008, at which time the chorale also performed two of Faith’s other compositions, “By an inland lake,” and “The poppy.”
