Mission Recognition Awards

Special award for Rev. Ruth

The church’s United Methodist Women presented the Rev. Ruth Morrison with its Mission Recognition Award on March 26 for all the work she has done for and contributions she has made to the church over the past 13 years. Ruth will be retiring in June after 45 years of serving churches in Portland, Saco, Goodwins Mills, Lewiston and Cape Elizabeth.

Also receiving a Mission Award at the March 26 service was Ted Haider for his work with the church’s newsletter, web site and Facebook.

Kathie Hackett presented the awards.
